The importance of calibrating batteries
The battery life may be reduced when the battery is repeatedly charged and discharged within a short period of time. To restore the actual battery level and remaining battery display, you need to fully discharge the battery using the Smart Battery Calibration feature and then charge it again.
IMPORTANT: If your laptop will only turn on when it is plugged in, then your battery is damaged and you need to replace it.

When do you need to calibrate your laptop?
