Fix Dell Notebook Not Charging

Method 1: Reconnect the AC adapter and battery

3) Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 20 seconds to discharge the remaining power of the laptop.

Method 4: Reinstall the battery driver


This problem can also occur if you are using the wrong battery driver. You can reinstall the driver and see if this fixes your problem.

You can use your operating system's Device Manager, connect your laptop to the Internet, and then locate and uninstall the battery driver in Device Manager. After restarting the laptop, the driver will be automatically reinstalled.


Method 5: Update the BIOS
