FAQ
Q: Is this the internal or external battery for the T480?
A: This is the **internal (front)** battery located under the palmrest. The ThinkPad T480 uses a dual-battery system; please confirm you are replacing the internal pack before purchase.
Q: How do I maintain this internal battery?
A: Since it is not easily removable, we recommend using Lenovo Vantage to set an 80% charge threshold to reduce chemical wear if you primarily use the laptop while connected to AC power.
