How do I replace the iRobot Roomba 1800LI battery?

Use the steps below to remove and reinstall the battery.

Please note that your robot series may be different the battery replacement procedure is the same for the iRobot Roomba 700, 800 and 900 series. For information on the 500 and 600 series, see this support article.

1.Unscrew the two (2) screws on the battery cover and remove the battery cover and battery.

2.Install the replacement battery with the labels and tabs facing up.

3.Reinstall battery cover and two (2) screws. When reinstalling the battery, be careful not to pinch the side brushes on the battery cover.
