How is the Razer Blade 15 (2022) performance and battery?
The Razer Blade 15 (2022) is the latest addition to Razer's iconic gaming laptop, and without a doubt one of the best gaming laptops released this year.
The Razer Blade 15 (2022) is unquestionably powerful, the first update comes with new Intel Alder Lake mobile processors, Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPUs, and DDR5 RAM, so this is more performance wise than the Razer Blade 15 (2021) ) has made great progress.
However, this performance takes a toll on battery life, thanks to the voracious Alder Lake processor and 105W TGP GPU.

On our PCMark 10 battery life test, the Blade 15 (2022) lasted just 2 hours, 49 minutes, and it did a little worse on the FHD Movie battery test, at 2 hours, 43 minutes. By comparison, the Razer Blade 15 (2021) managed an impressive 6 hours 16 minutes and 5 hours 31 minutes.
Several other laptops we've seen with the new hardware have seriously degraded battery life for the sake of performance. So it's hard to blame Razer for poor battery life here, but it's something to look out for if you're looking to buy the Razer Blade 15 (2022).
How does the Razer Blade 15 perform?
On average, you'll get between five and six hours in a variety of different models of the Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop when playing HD modern games with high settings.
That's an average result for an overall laptop. But, especially for a gaming laptop, that's actually quite a bit of uptime.
Gaming laptops have traditionally had poor battery life, so most models launched in the past required you to be as close to an outlet as possible.
